Dr. D Asks some important questions of interest to Berkeley Heights residents - Chiropractor Berkeley Heights Dr. D Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
What's the difference between chiropractic and medicine?
Medical treatment focuses on the disease or the symptom. Chiropractic focuses on the person with the disease or the symptom. Medical treatment usually involves changing blood chemistry. Chiropractic involves restoring nervous system integrity. Medical doctors prescribe medicine. Chiropractors adjust the spine—a common source of nervous system interference.

DeFabio Chiropractic Associates Financial Policies & Fees

De Fabio Chiropractic Associates (DCA) offers a variety of payment options that make us accessible to our patients regardless of insurance coverage.

For patients with insurance that covers chiropractic care, we will verify the extent of your coverage and review the results with you. In that way you will know what your insurance covers before you begin care. However, the final extent of your coverage and the exact amount of your liability can only be determined after your bills have been processed by your insurance carrier.

For patients who do not have insurance coverage for chiropractic care or for those who choose not to use their insurance, they have the option to join ChiroHealth USA which will enable them to have a 15% discount on our routine fees as well as capped fees for family and initial visits. For more information go to www.ChiroHealthUSA.com or call the office. So at DCA, No Insurance, No Problem.

Following is general information about the major insurance companies. Remember, the patient (or his/her guardian) is ultimately responsible for payment. It is your obligation to be aware of your insurance coverage and insurance companies administrative policies.
